The Lord Jesus Christ is speaking to and advising the Jews of the forthcoming last days from the Mount of Olives. The Israelites are his audience. Ultimately, He is warning his Brethren of Israel about how to detect the approach and oncoming of Antichrist and the False Prophet in that day and the actions that they will and must take in order to survive.

There is to much going on for the Rapture to be another generation away. This is the generation, he said himself that this isn't the generation, but it has to be. Jesus even said we would know the season. Clearly the fig tree represents Israel.

Such a huge departure from everything that I’ve ever heard from the rest of the group of ministry folks who have appeared on Understanding the Times. Sounds like from your perspective we can’t have the hope of Jesus being ready to snatch us up. How discouraged that makes me. Not what I wanted to hear but for your sake it had better be the truth. I’m fried from all the speculations from end times interpreters.

New subscriber. Love your work. First saw you on John Ankerburg. Such a blessing. To even be able to pitch a question to you is a great honor in the Lord. That being said, in reference to your Final Generation (FG) response, I wonder where or if Daniel 2:4 (Ppl will travel too and fro, and knowledge shall increase) fits into this. Is that a prerequisite? Or can u superimposed this scripture on top of Mathew 24? Are they the same time period? — Thank you and keep up the Amazing work!!!

This video is great example of Keeping Things In Context.
It is this generation. We should recognise the signs of the times and the season/year of the return of Jesus. A generation is variable in scripture but can be ascertained by context.
God gave a 120 year notice from 1900 to 2020 in the books of Psalms being the 19th book of the Bible and prophesying events in the last 120 years leading up to the rapture this year. Psalms 120 and up are the Psalms of ascent. Israel becoming a nation in 1948, the fig tree growing, Israel becoming a nation again, and Jews coming bank to the land was the start of the last 70-80 year generation. This word "last generation" is stated in various parts of the Bible but mis translated. Jesus returns in 2027 which is before the end of this generation. World events confirm this.

Concerning the question of what is a generation…read Psalm 90, specifically, verse 10, and pay special attention to the last part of that verse, at the end of the generation we all "fly away". This particular Psalm is one by Moses and I believe it contains many answers to questions concerning end times events. The timing and allotted times.

Dr Hitchcock I've heard you say the Rapture is imminent. If that is the case why did you say this Generation is not the Generation that will not pass away. I'm under the impression we can get Raptured any day. Which would make us the Generation that will see the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ. Remember in Luke it said, “like the fig tree and ALL trees, know summer is near.” It’s just saying, like a tree, once you see it bud, know it summer, so too will will my return be my when you see the things. We are gonna see it all as Matt 24 message if for us.

Actually the Bible tells you what a generation is
70 to 80 years..
Psalms 90:10 10 The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.
We know a score equals 20 & half is 10..
Also the Bible
And the fig tree is israel
Jeremiah 24: 3 Then said the Lord unto me, What seest thou, Jeremiah? And I said, Figs; the good figs, very good; and the evil, very evil, that cannot be eaten, they are so evil.
4 Again the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
5 Thus saith the Lord, the God of Israel; Like these good figs, so will I acknowledge them that are carried away captive of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans for their good.
6 For I will set mine eyes upon them for good, and I will bring them again to this land: and I will build them, and not pull them down; and I will plant them, and not pluck them up.
7 And I will give them an heart to know me, that I am the Lord: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God: for they shall return unto me with their whole heart.
One thing I learned with the Bible is the Bible answers itself.
Like what did Jesus write on the ground ??
Jere 17:13 O LORD, the hope of Israel, all that forsake thee shall be ashamed, and they that depart from me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken the LORD, the fountain of living waters

I do wonder after our God and HIs plan; not just for the World yet also for myself. I do have faith that Rapture or Tribulation our good God will care for us.
I do pray for your ministry Pastor HItchcock. I have been watching your sermons upon YouTube. I do struggle with loneliness. So if you would wish to pray for me I would be most thankful.

I was thinking this as well. We see so many signs today, the convergence of signs but if this is during the Tribulation, we won’t be here. We will be raptured before that. Then again, if we are raptured, we will also be a generation that won’t see death. Things that make you go hmmmmmm! 🤔
