Jacob fights with Jesus and gets blessed (and a permanent limp). I fight with Jesus and get convicted.

you are better off reading the Bible. These vids are great but don't do any justice to how beautiful and almost cinematic the Book of God is written. It also omits a lot of cool dialogue and details… just take my simple human word for it

I always love how the story of Genesis begins with three stories of fractured families and ends with three families that have to learn to put aside their petty squabbles to humble themselves and come together both with each other and the neighboring tribes willing to accept peace. It’s a great reminder that faith comes from how we love each other can strengthen our relationships.

Incorrect ,jacob does not mean deceiver when used in the non english form. Yakob, which if you look into the word Akobi, which is jacob in yoruba (nigerian language). You will see that it means first born. Which is exaclty who The Creator calls His first born in Exodus 4:22 Yakob/Akobi so called "jacob". It is he His first born, not some fake messiah idol from the new testament.

These videos remind me of a program that was on TV in the late 1950's when we first got tv out on the prairies! The young man who was hosting narrated a story while drawing it out on a flip chart. Unfortunately, after well over 60 years, I cannot recall the name of the program!! But it certainly supplemented our Sunday School lessons in a memorable way.
